As the summer comes to an end, Jicable’27 is entering an important stage in the development of its 2027 programme. The Call for Paper is now open. Authors are invited to submit their abstract and contribute to the scientific and technical content of the conference. From new materials, ageing and diagnosis to AC and DC cable systems, submarine cable systems, asset management, sustainable development, digital modelling and artificial intelligence, the Call for Paper addresses the main technical and scientific issues currently shaping the power cable industry. The complete Call for Paper is available on the Jicable’27 website, with detailed information on the 10 technical topics, submission guidelines and the paper selection process. Submission deadline: 31 October 2026 All abstracts will be reviewed by the Jicable’27 International Scientific and Technical Committee (ISTC).
